Base Cabin Options - South Island
The base cabin prices below represent our 2.4m wide cabins, are GST inclusive and incorporate our FREE trailer delivery to within 50kms of central Christchurch. If you're further out, you'll simple pay per km after the 50km free zone.
Base prices in the South Island (SI) have different inclusions from the North Island. Every SI cabin comes with additional rust proof coating, upgraded quality joinery built here in NZ meaning our SI ranch sliders and windows come with Energy Saver Low E & Argon filled double glazing, helping to keep you toasty on those cold nights.
As per the North Island, all cabins come electrically wired with CoC, fitted double internal power sockets, internal ceiling light, external light and external caravan plug. The flooring is uncovered 18mm marine plex ply and designs are customizable to suit your needs.

3.6m x 2.4m
Perfect for an office, sleep out or storage area. Small but perfectly formed the 3.6m adds heaps of functionality. Choose from two external cladding colours - white or grey, both with dark trim. Up the internal space with a 2.7m wide cabin (price via a quote)
4.1m x 2.4m
Slightly bigger giving flexibility and a bit more elbow room. Consider placing the ranch-slider on the short end or replace for a single door to free up wall space. All cabins come fully wired with two double power points, internal and external light and caravan plug.
4.6m x 2.4m
Allowing space for a wardrobe or kitchenette the 4.6m is a roomy cabin with options. Add indoor /outdoor flow with a customized step or deck. All cabins have galvanized, box section steel frame with 18mm marineplex waterproof plywood floor.
6m x 2.4m
An excellent granny flat or sleep out choice. Comes with two NZ windows, three double sockets and two internal lights. Perfect for adding an office or kitchenette. This cabin is the one to get creative! Step it up with a 7m x 2.4m (contact us for a quote).
Additional Extra's
Everything is possible when you can customize your sleep out! Our South Island cabins all come with additional rust proofing on the frame, upgraded NZ manufactured window(s) and ranch slider, all of this is included within the base price. But you can add more if you want it! We work with you to design your cabin, your way, contact us for a no obligation quote or chat.
Layout Options
Section off an area with an internal wall, add a wardrobe or storage cupboard. Choose a concertina internal door to save on space.
Air-Con
Air-conditioning - a great option to have heating or cooling freedom at your fingertips. We use Haier with a cooling and heating capacity of 3.5kw.
Flooring
Laminate flooring, carpet with 12mm underlay or hard wearing carpet tiles add comfort and warmth. All fitted by an expert during construction.
Power It Up
Add extra power sockets, external water-proof sockets, batten lighting or more ceiling lights, external sensor lights, extra amp space on the switch board.
Lighten It Up
Add an additional sliding or awning window to create more light and air-flow to your cabin. Go with double ranch sliders for seriously awesome flow.
Warm It Up
Polystyrene underfloor insulation will keep your toes warm in winter. Also helps prevent damp rising into your cabin. Contact us for pricing.
